This trek begins by exploring the Langtang Valley area and then climbing ahead to the holy glacial lake Gosaikunda (4380 m), an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The lake itself offers a panoramic viewpoint of Langtang, Ganesh Himal and Annapurna ranges making this trek one of the best in the Langtang region. The route takes you through an amazingly varied landscape; rice terraces, rhododendron and pine forests, and at higher altitudes, a rocky wilderness set against a dramatic backdrop of snow capped peaks. After reaching the lake, you can continue to trek across Gosainkunda Pass, descending towards Chisapani and ending your journey at Shivapuri National Park, offering further opportunities to see a huge variety of local flowers birds and animals.

Day 10 : Trek to Sing Gompa or Chandanbar (3330 m/10925 ft)

Day 11 : Trek to Gosainkunda (4400 m/14435 ft)

Day 13 : Trek to Thadepati (3640 m/11942 ft)

Day 14 : Trek to Golphu Bhanjyang (2140 m/7020 ft)

Day 16 : Trek to Chisapani (2140 m/7020 ft) and drive to Kathmandu
