Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek

This is a spectacular and challenging trek that takes you around the world’s 7th highest mountain, Dhaulagiri, also known as the “White Mountain”. Only trekkers very experienced with high altitude should take part in this journey, which takes a little over two weeks and traverses high alpine pastures, and serene and uninhabited valleys. Located in the western part of Nepal past Pokhara, Dhaulagiri has become known as one of the best spots for more remote and adventurous trekking. The trek begins after a short drive from Pokhara to the set off point at Beni, and ends at Jomsom near Annapurna. 

Day 01 - Arrival at International Airport in Kathmandu (1300 m/4265 ft). Overnight at a hotel.

Day 02 - Preparation and sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 03 - Drive to Beni (850 m/2788 ft) by bus - 8 hrs.

Day 04 - Off road drive to Dharpang (4 hr)

Day 05 - Trek to Dharapani 1565 m/5135 ft)

Day 06 - Trek to Muri (1850 m/6068 ft)

Day 07 - Trek to Boghara (2050 m/6822 ft)

Day 08 - Trek to Dobang (2630 m/8680 ft)

Day 09 - Trek to Choriban Khola (3110 m/10204 ft)

Day 10 - Trek to the Italian base camp (3660 m/12000 ft)

Day 11 - Acclimatisation and rest day

Day 12 - Trek to the Japanese camp (4310 m/14140 ft)

Day 13 - Trek to the Dhaulagiri base camp (4740 m/15551 ft)

Day 14 - Cross the French Pass (5360 m/17585 ft), then trek to the Hidden Valley (5200 m)

Day 15 - Cross Dhampus Pass (5200 m/17060 ft), and trek to Yak Kharka (3680 m/1274 ft)

Day 16 - Trek to Jomsom (2710 m/8891 ft)

Day 17 - Morning flight to Pokhara - 30 mins. Sightseeing around Pokhara.

Day 18 - Drive or fly back to Kathmandu

Day 19 - Transfer to the international airport for your departure
