Chisapani-Nagarkot is a fun and easy short trek for visitors who have limited time and wish to trek at comfortable altitudes around the Kathmandu Valley, an area rich in its own unique culture and natural environment. The trek begins at Sundarijal, continues through Chisapani and culminates at Nagarkot, a popular hill station known for it’s spectacular view of the Himalayas. From Nagarkot, if the weather is clear, you can see mountain ranges stretching from as far east as Everest to as far west as Dhaulagiri, including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Gaurishanker. This trek also offers a taste of local culture and village life at Shivapuri National Park forest and Changunarayan, a small village of great historical value containing one of the valley’s oldest temples.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel (1300m/4255ft)

Day 2 : Drive to Sundarijal (40 min) and trek to Chisapani (2170m/7119ft)

Day 3 : Trek to Nagarkot (2100m/6890ft)

Day 4 : Trek to Changunarayan and drive to Bhaktapur (sightseen Bhaktapur)

Day 5 : Drive to Kathmandu (30 min)
