We accept your bookings under the following terms and conditions:

To secure early flight, accommodation and best guide, we always recommend that you book your trip as early as possible. We require you to send a passport copy, confirmed itinerary, and advance deposit of 25-50% of the total trip cost. Payments can be wired to our following banking account:

Trip Booking:

We request that you book your trip as early as possible; however we can accept bookings as early as two days prior to departure.

Risk & liabilities

We are committed to providing the best service possible in order to give you a once in a lifetime experience. We always put our best efforts into making your journey smooth and pleasant. All the services will be provided as per the agreement between you and us at time of booking; however all Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan trips are run strictly under their own policies and tourism authorities. Real Himalaya Pvt. Ltd or its agent shall not bear responsibility for any change or cancellation of programmers due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, avalanches, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, or breakdown of vehicle; any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the client. It is strongly recommended that clients obtain full insurance against medical and personal accident risk. Trip insurance is also recommended. Real Himalaya will be responsible and agree to pay indemnity for any losses and damages of client’s assets made by our staffs during the trip.

Trip Cancellation:

Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made by the client in writing, either in written documents or in an email. Cancellation shall be valid with approval from the company after receiving document. The trip shall then be termed as cancelled, and as a cancellation charge, 20% of the trip amount will be deducted from the advance paid. The company also has the right to charges all expenses made during preparation, i.e. staff advance payment, issued permit fees, flight ticket, hotel payment etc. Such amount will be deducted from deposit amount or client shall be required to pay if deposit amount is not sufficient.

Uncompleted Trip:

No refund will be made to any trip member in case of uncompleted tour, trek or expedition due to any reason.

Postponed Trip:

If our clients want to postpone the trip, written notification is to be sent at least 15 days prior to trip departure date.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

If Real Himalaya Pvt. Ltd cancels your trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as war, natural disaster, conflict, unfavorable climate, etc., we would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard. If this doesn’t fit your personal interest, all monies paid by you to our company will be refunded. However, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

Price Change:

We reserve the right to revise pricing rate if posted in our marketing material and website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are beyond our control; for instance changes in exchange rate, government action, etc. Often domestic flight fares may change due to fuel price increases. We always try our best to ensure present prices on our treks/tours.

Passport and Visas

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. Nepal tourist visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Cost of tourist visa is from US$30.

Travel Insurance:

Our clients must have a comprehensive travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of luggage and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects, etc.

Flight Delay/Cancellation:

Flights by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays for notorious weather in remote areas, and sometimes operational complications may happen, in particular the Everest region, Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot, Jumla region, etc. When these flights are included in our itinerary, it is also recommended to carry extra money for food and accommodation in case of delays. We will not be responsible for these additional expenses or costs incurred from lost connections, so plan accordingly.

Your Personal Belongings:

Except in certain conditions, we are not responsible for any loss of, or damage to your luggage or property belonging to you even when shouldered by porters, ponies or vehicles. That means your personal possessions and luggage are at your risk at all times.

During the Trip:

A tour/trek guide who represents Real Himalaya Pvt. Ltd deserves all authority during your trip. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such case.
